Electronic Sheep’s ‘Pyramids & Pipes’ collection is a voyage of accidental discovery. It takes its inspiration from the travels of Sir Francis Drake — his early European perceptions of the New World provide the inspiration for collages of exotic fruits, herbs, sea life, the woods, Native American boats and, of course, tobacco pipes.

Stylkowo has been featured in the local press as ‘the outlet with a soul’. The retail outlet based in Bydgoszcz has added Electronic Sheep to its collection of international brands. Electronic Sheep AW09 collection featured in SNAP! magazine, Canada

This weeks pick of the shops is Pearl, who describe themselves as providing “beautiful and practical clothing for kids”. The colours in the shop are compelling with pinks and blues, yellows and greens and shock horror black because as Pearl put it “kids love wearing a whole spectrum of brightness and boldness”. This is something that Electronic Sheep holds close to our heart.

The uniqueness of Pearl is that they not only stock beautiful kids clothes, but they also understand what it is to be a kid. Pearl only stocks clothes and toys for babies, boys and girls that are practical.

The funny thing about many children’s shops is that they are not always that keen on having kids in them. Pearl, on the other hand, do their utmost to welcome kids. They have toys to play with, books to read and space to sit. As Pearl describes themselves, “We may have preciously lovely things but that don’t make us precious”.

Pearl also stocks some great knits for kids from the Electronic Sheep ranges.

Pearl is open Monday to Saturday from 10am – 5.30pm , and Sunday 12pm – 5.30pm.

Electronic Sheep gets snapped up by some interesting folk at The Placement Boutique held at the exclusive London club Paper. De la Soul, Dirty Pretty Things, The Automatic amongst others showed up and are seen here with their new Electronic Sheep accessories… The event was held in conjunction with the charity TRAID, who aim to reduce landfill and recycle and re-home garments and lifestyle products. Celebrities and brands, including Electronic Sheep, donated items to the charity so they can sell these special pieces through their TRAID outlets. www.traid.org.uk
